Ok guys,
My food post with a little of every other thing will be coming up! Scroll down if you've already filled your stomachs, if not, do not hold me account for grumbling in your stomach!
ok i'm just exaggerating..
My last meal before setting off !
ta-ta Singapore !
Have you guys ever seen the magnificent view of the sun set from the skies? It's fabulous I swear.
My first meal after the 2 hours flight ! We took a cab down to the hotel and settled down at the restaurant at the hotel lobby :) Food's great. But the next and every meal in Thailand was street food. Well, what's a trip to Thailand without trying out their street delicacies ? ;)
So for the first breakfast i had some thailand crepes before that but I didn't snap a good photo of it! in Bangkok we have some ballball noodles the noodles have a mixture of fried fish balls, meatballs, fishball and yeah... kind of cleared the noodles and left the meatballs alone cos im not a fan of them x.x . And actually, we were suppose to be having wonton noodles but we thought this was the stall when in fact, the wonton noodles store was further down the streets hahah!
Every now and then, we would take a break from shopping..... so here's some mango milk ice from the food court below my hotel ! Their food courts are really empty and I have no idea how they actually make money selling there .
And yes, the mango ice here are really good, the amount of condense milk they pour over it is just right and the mango is super fresh because they only peel and slice the mango when you request for a bowl!
More street delicacies! Quail eggs! They were good, probably even better than normal eggs ^_^ yumz
This is Nutella + Banana + Raisins + Cashew nuts Crepe. And its not even $2! Maybe less than $1, i can't remember !
Street Delicacies : Cup Corns ! Ok, these are really juicy too !
Tut - Tut ! Took a short ride on a Tut-Tut. Gosh, I swear my face would've been covered with dust and debris if I had not used my hair to cover my face. LOL. I didn't have a mask with me... and the air was really bad. Even though I've snipped away over 60cm of hair at least its still long enough to cover my face.
My parents and I on a tut-tut. The wind was blowing really strongly or was it the driver speeding. That my hair got so messed up there and yah, I'm really ugly here dont judge leh.
Now, don't you think this prawn looks BIG and JUICY? Don't get fooled... it's made of the same ingredients as those crabmeat sticks you eat during steamboat. What a disappointment. I'm no lover of crabmeat sticks ya. But to contradict myself, it still taste good, maybe due to the blend of flavours from the Thailand air.
And a coconut drink to quench our thirst after walking around and eating all the spicy food ^^
Things I like about their convenient stores :
Choki Choki, 5 sticks for less than a dollar
Hi-Chew, with 12 candy for only a dollar a few cents !
I've always had something about trying out fast food outlets overseas. Singapore's fillet burger still taste better. :|
A milktea fetish caused me to get 3 cups of milk teas in 2 hours. The first cup was quickly downed by me as I was too thirsty to snap snap a picture.
Yes, something you'll have to try at Thailand is their tom yum soup !
And also their mango sticky rice !
This was my last meal at thailand. Its at one of the restaurants in the airport :)
Drunken dog
* Points to ginger beer bottle by the pole *
I'm coming back Singapore !
Oh wait, I've forgotten my final final meal was on the airplane. Yes, cup noodles LOL. I can still remember this guy looking at me like "how can she be eating like nothing happened when there's turbulence?"
