My birthday

   Ok, apologies for a super late thank you post. Actually I just really wanna thank the people who made my 18th birthday such a pleasant one. Grunge, EXCOs, Mithio and most importantly, my family.

Had a gathering at Lester's place, well didn't expect the surprise which they waited till 12am to give! Anyway happy belated birthday to my dearie wanwen & chunhoe too ! ^^ They used candles and made a heart, btw HB CLW stands for happy birthday chunhoe, me and wanwen.

 

And this bitch who lied to me that he was grounded and appeared anyway. Thanks for the cupcakes although I didn't get to eat any of it cos we left it at Lester's place. HAHAHA.Ultimate love for all your effort!

 And the lovely excos ( that we didn't take photo with that night T_T ) , gave me another surprise. It's really unexpected and they actually lied to make me stay. Hahahaha. Love you guys and thanks so much ! The cake was GOOOOOD. ( you know where to get it now * points to the brand logo * )

And then I went home to another cake. I love how my family never fail to celebrate each of our birthday each year. Despite the fact that my birthday falls on the first day of 7th month, ( which by right, i'm not suppose to celebrate my birthday, I guess it'll probably attract the souls to me ) , they celebrated for me nonetheless.

And the celebration I swear I was caught off guard was from mithio. Dex and I was walking towards the table they were seated at, and he was kind of blocking my view and I didn't bother looking out for mithio cos I couldn't see, and bom! They presented me with my fav cheese cake! The cake was damn good ! Thanks so much my dears ! Really appreciate it ! 

 

Hahaha and they rojak some random weird stuff and made me eat it. I took a bite... mmm, I cannot describe the taste. HAHAHA.

Those days

Hihi,

It's been a couple of months since I last did a blog post. And actually I hardly have anytime to spare too! But however busy I am with my life now, I am really grateful for all the things that happened. Poly life is great.

I was just reading up a couple of blog post from my archives and it really amazed me. Very amazing how the amount of fun I had in Secondary School and Polytechnic is not comparable. In a sense that I was having fun in two completely different ways.

On another note, I actually wish I could do a blog post every day so I could have a record of whatever that is happening in my life, but I think I am far too busy to do it.

Oh wellz, I shall just do a post when I am really free.

Exhausted.

It's 12 days since I last blogged.

And yes, you wouldn't imagine how much have happened in just 12 days. Well, its also been 11 days since I last slept on my bed!

My house was under renovation since 15th of April. And yay, the renovations are done and i'm finally back to humanity! Phew...

Ok so 16th of April was the beginning of day 0 for week 0 orientation camp for the freshmen. Well, I scraped through the tough times and week 0 finally ended with engine school finally getting the triumph of regatta! .... After 8 years. Really happy that we finally won. I'm glad my mentoring year is a year that we did not mock business school during regatta, instead we went all out to have our own fun!

My freshie year was horrible because the the mentors were teaching us cheers that mocks business. And isn't TP 1 big family? Ah, nevermind that.

So school week officially begin on monday. Been going back to chalet to stay these days. Woooo. I've been switching units here and there.... like i've been to 5 units in less than 2 weeks !

Journey.

How should I say...

The bitter sweet moment that FO is finally over.
Bitter that my 6 months journey to FO has ended. And sweet that a journey of 3 years of auroc has begun!


Anyway I just published a post I did 5 months ago when I was a TPRawks PL. Coming back to read the post really make me thank god I hadn't deleted the post. I actually went home each day to draft my thoughts and felt that I shouldn't publish it. But I guess I no longer feel that way 5 months later :)


My journey of wanting to be a GL did not begin right after FO ended. Well, i guess many of us did not get inspired immediately right ? I was really glad I had taken this path. Friends will tell me its stupid to waste so much time, money, energy on camps. " What for you lose your voice just for people you don't know? ", " Waste so much money for what? " Despite all they had said, I feel that being a GL is a journey that's really priceless and worth every single bit of my life.

Seeing them grow from strangers to friends, from one word conversations to a day full of chattering in just 3 short days really make me feel happy for all the moments together.

Huddling with my fellow GLs and crying together wasn't because I was upset. I was happy, happy that all these happened.

I'm glad I went to FO even though I had contemplated before going. I believe I've made the right choice coming here. Coming into the mithio family. A place I met so many wonderful GLs that continue to hang out with us freshies even though they have their own group of friends. These GLs are the ones who inspired me. They did not leave us just because FO is over, they are here even until now. Honestly speaking, I have very vague memory of the 3 days in FO. The memorable ones are after FO, coming to know the people in mithio. It started at CPF building, I went there alone, not knowing the people there, now I have a bunch of crazy people I can hang out with. I will never ever forget my freshie empire or walk away from mithio. The empire where I start with, will be the empire I will end with.


Half a year later, I got into TPRawks, the strangers that we all were, we end up growing together as a grunge rawk family. Rachel, Boon, Ang, Wanwen, Jade, Vivian, Crystal, Dexter, Clarence, Lester, Aaron, Isaac, Bryan, Khom, Omar, Jon, Sebas, Bella, Chun hoe, Desmond, Nat.
We have learnt together, cried together, laughed together. Really thank god for this family.

We made it through FO together.

Auroc started out 4 months ago, I met many wonderful people in auroc. The 50 of us came together and did so many things together, we had started out in a camp barely knowing anybody, till this day, after 4 refreshes, 2 chalets, 1 glam outing, countless impromptus and over 10 monday dinners, we have came here together and I really hope to bring this bond we have to our freshies.



As much as I want to thank the people who I want to thank in real life, I find it easier expressing my words in digital form. Nevertheless, apart from my blood family, my best friends, i'll place this group of people next closest to my heart.
